The movie Beginners left my heart aching.  The character Oliver reminded me of someone I once loved, from the simple sweaters and corduroy pants to his complete melancholy outlook on life.  I wept in longing for the past, for memories of passionate love and being held tight through the night, and I wept in hope for the future, in hope of finding this wholeness once again.    

This Sunday I will lay beside a man I adore, in a cabin, by a river and I will kiss him and wrap my legs around his.  I will not want to ever let go, even though I know his heart will be elsewhere.  I will continue this charade of life and love and I will fight, as always, for contentedness.  I will tell myself, I will not worry.

 I will worry.
